Environmental Management

Environmental Management

An environmental management system is designed to capture the environmental impacts of a company. Subsequently, an environmental policy is defined that serves as a general guideline in the company. Targets are set to reduce the existing environmental impacts and processes are defined how best to reach those targets. The targets will be regularly checked for their achievement and adaption measures will be taken if necessary. This continuous cycle of goal and process planning, implementation, monitoring and optimization is intended to lead to a continuous improvement in the active environmental protection.

ALPENRIND has recognized that environmental management is gaining more and more importance. Many customers and the public in general are turning their attention to environmentally friendly offered products and services. ALPENRIND takes its responsibility very seriously and has implemented an environmental management system according to ISO 14001.

The introduction of an environmental management system is an important investment for the future to secure the long-term success of the company and to ensure that subsequent generations have sufficient resources for a comfortable life available.
